The Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition—CWCBE—is a marijuana trade show that was held a while ago. Several different names attended the trade show except for Rodger Stoner, who, for reasons that no one knows, didn’t appear.
Roger Stone’s circle is separate from the rest, including his group of friends and the lounges he gives his speeches at. Being the headliner, he was expected to show up at the CWCBE. This left a lot of visitors hanging including Omar Navarro who is the Republican Congressional candidate—43rd District of California—, and a member of US Cannabis Coalition—a coalition formed by Roger Stone himself.
Soon the meeting was called off. While some officials fled away, others stayed to discuss the ethical conundrum Roger Stone is.
Roger Stone has been one of the absolute outspoken Drug War Lords who has also been after the legalization of cannabis for over a decade now. He has also been the right hand for the current US President for over four decades now. What perplexes many minds is that the Rodger now believes that federal crackdown on cannabis should be prevented as a foremost priority.
Furthermore, Roger’s new organization is dedicated to influencing the decision makers on a federal level to honor the rights of every state rather to go forward with a federal crackdown. The question is, is this the man we want to get rid of for his ethics, or a man we want to keep around for what he’s doing for the US cannabis industry?
The founder of Portland—Jesce Horton—believes the former—to keep him away for key titles. Horton said in an interview that “Stone is a very dangerous person”. She continued with her very valid set of points. He said that Roger Stone has had a history of racist rhetoric. He was the man who ushered the most restrictive laws against the legalization of cannabis in the country.
Moreover, Stone has also been a subject of great controversy over the years. From testifying for his outrageous works in his teenage years to advising Republican Candidates, Roger Stone has always been in the limelight.
His personal life and interests are no good either, but then again, what can you expect from a man on advises people to save their carbs so they can enjoy more booze. Not to mention he got banned from MSNBC, Fox News, and CNN for his provocative comments that included everything from sexism to racism and beyond.
Roger Stones records are not one to convince anyone to let the man deliver speeches on major floors. But the question is more about the political grassroots that changed the world. It is about the government oppression and the arrests of millions of people. Keeping that in mind, it is deeply unclear if Roger Stone is the right guy, or even close to being one. He may be or he may not. Only time can tell the difference.
