ILGM Seeds: Cindarella 99 and God Bud Outdoor Grow:
A lot of growers prefer outdoor growing mostly because of its benefits and how it cuts down costs. First, nobody can deny that the sun is the most powerful light source there is. Next, no boundaries when it comes to growing spaces. The world is the oyster, as they say, of course as long as it is in the grower’s property. Another fact is the ventilation covers the area for free.
However, outdoor growers still have some repercussions to look out for. They have the federal agents and other uncontrollable factors like the insects, weather etc.
These are only some of the things that DaGoose had to conquer. Aside from the fact that the seeds are of different strains as well which implies they may have different needs. Read on to see the different adventures this newbie grower had to conquer as he nurtures the following:

DaGoose and the ILGM Seeds
ILGM Chronic Widow
Sativa-dominant Chronic Widow is a strain developed in Amsterdam since the early 90’s. Since then it has maintained its popularity and has been smokers’ favorite ever since. The most famous effect of this strain is a sudden boost of energy which also enhances creativity.
Also, Chronic Widow is also popular for its medicinal effects. It is known to treat chronic pain, depression, PTSD, anxiety among others.
Soaring high since winning the High Time’s Cannabis Cup in 2000 for Best Indica, Blueberry is still a crowd favorite. One of the things that make it famous is its sweet flavors that resemble that of its fresh fruit counterpart. The taste and aroma combine with relaxing effects and creates a long-lasting sense of euphoria.
This way, it can also help lessen the pain and muscle strain. Other smokers also claim its relief from pain.
ILGM Blueberry
Soaring high since winning the High Time’s Cannabis Cup in 2000 for Best Indica, Blueberry is still a crowd favorite. A strain specially concocted by ILGM’s very own Robert Bergman, Gold Leaf perfectly balances sativa and indica effects. The top of the list for its effects is its hit being a mood booster. This strain is known to induce feelings of happiness, euphoria, and uplifting one’s mood.
As for the medical effect, Gold Leaf is known to ease chronic pain. It also helps increase the appetite while reducing one’s stress.
ILGM Cali Dream
Its unknown heritage does not stop growers from nurturing Cali Dream Seeds. This strain is fairly easy to grow that rewards the growers with huge and fluffy buds laden with resin and trichomes. Not to mention, its taste of citrus, mint, and sweetness also allure the smokers.
As for its effects, this strain gives a cerebral euphoria which boosts creativity and awakens one’s thoughts. This lasts for a long period of time and is subtly followed by deep relaxation and sedation that provides inflammation and pain relief.
Cindarella 99
Quite famously known as “Cindy”, Cindarella 99s is a mix breed of seeds found in a Sensi and a 2-gram package of Jack Herer. It has maintained its legendary status in growers because of its short, bushy stature that gives high yield in a short flowering time.
Not to mention, its high THC content (23%) usually gives the effect of a euphoria, uplifting mood and a dreamy kind of thinking.
God Bud
Growers adore the large, dense and purple-hued buds while the plant itself only has a short and compact stature. Although, the entire pedigree is somewhat of a mystery, one thing is certain and that is this strain is a mix of Hawaiian, Purple Skunks and an ambiguous strain only referred to as “God”.
Nonetheless, its hallucinogenic high is aided by flavors of tropical fruit with undertones of berry, lavender, and pine.
Vegetative Period

Before actually planting the seeds, DaGoose still needs to prepare a lot of things and make some improvements. A drip system for nutrients and water was supposed to grace the grow tent but he deemed it unnecessary as of now. Instead, he added a Galaxyhydro 600-watts LED light that features full spectrum perfect for both vegetation and flowering stages.
Now that everything is falling into place, three ILGM Gold Leaf, two ILGM Blueberry and two God Bud seeds are soaking in water as of today. They are actually atop white laden plywood on top of DaGoose’s bathtub in the bathroom which is serving as the temporary grow room.
2018-04-08
After one full day of soaking in water, he then transferred it on wet paper towels in a Ziploc bag. Then, sandwiched it between two dinner plates and placed it on top of a seed warmer. Unsure whether it is because of the warmer, but a majority of the seeds did not pop.
Only one of the three Blueberry Seeds:
None for the Gold Leaf Seeds. One started sprouting but broke off along the way:
A rare case for this grow, but both God Bud Seeds sprouted:
Nonetheless, DaGoose buried all seeds in soil today.
2018-04-17
The seeds basked under the rays of Galaxyhydro 600-watts LED lights once they are buried in the soil. However, the emission of the LED may be too strong for the seeds and they turned out baked. Only one ILGM Blueberry seed survived the ordeal and sprouted.
To replace, DaGoose started two Gold Leaf and two God Bud seeds in water. Although this time, he avoids using the seed warmer.
2018-04-27
Since the nutrients arrived, along with the newly ordered seeds, DaGoose soaked Chronic Widow and Cali Dream seeds in water. After 24 hours, all seeds sprouted and cracked soon thereafter.
2018-05-01
After much anticipation, the Cindarella 99 seeds arrived in the mail today. As he prepares the seeds for germination, the new panda film curtain hangs inside the bathroom for the ladies.
ILGM Chronic Widow and Cali Dream seeds successfully popped:
2018-05-14
Since the girls arrive, pop and sprout at different times, it is hard to tell which ones are older than the others. Nonetheless, those who came from the first batch namely: ILGM Blueberry, ILGM Gold Leaf and God Bud developed yellowing of their bottom leaves since last week. Since those appeared, the growth of the plants also stopped.
DaGoose also saw some bugs crawling on the soil of the Cali Dream and ILGM Chronic Widow, he obtained some food grade DE and sprinkled it on top. Once done, the plants are given:
- Liquid Karma
- Cal-Mag
- Silica Blast
A few days later, these two seem to have grown enough to be transplanted into bigger pots. Filled with Roots Organics 707 soil, the neophyte grower feels a little experimental and added Great White mycorrhizae - a growth and roots enhancer.
Meanwhile, Cindarella 99 (Cindy) cracked and sprouted. Although, DaGoose does not want to be too sure.
2018-05-15
Plants with yellow leaves’ condition show no improvement as of today. DaGoose chose to give them another round of nutrients to aid their recovery.

2018-05-19
These are the Blueberry and Gold Leaf from ILGM, along with the God Bud from another seeds courier. They are the plants who experienced yellowing of the leaves. Slowly but surely, these ladies are recovering from what happened.
Looking at the lower half of the biggest plant, the yellowing of the leaves severely lessened and the new growths are a healthy greenish color.
ILGM’s Chronic Widow and Cali Dream plants are doing better than expected. DaGoose admits he did a great job not messing these two up.
2018-06-07
As DaGoose went on a vacation, he left the ladies in the care of a friend. Thankfully all of them are great and only needed a little sunshine.
After lounging under the sun for a while, DaGoose topped all plants except the Cindarella 99s which are the youngest of the lot. He thinks they are not yet ready for some high-stress training (HST).

DaGoose decided this would be outdoor grow after all. The ladies, except for the Cindarella 99s again, are now positioned outside in 15-gallon pots. Still using Roots Organics 707 soil, although he mixed 30% of the recommended dosage of Botanicare nutrients.
