So, you’ve got a drug test tomorrow. You meant to quit smoking weed weeks ago, but for one reason or another did not. Now, you’re panicking and wondering if you have any recourse. Is there anything you can take? Should you just drink a gallon of water? Should you just skip the drug test altogether? The answer to that last one is no. You should not skip a drug test, especially if it’s for legal reasons, such as to keep yourself out of jail. Simply ask yourself these questions and you will know what the likelihood of you passing your drug test tomorrow will be.
When Was the Last Time You Smoked?
When was the last time you smoked any weed? Was it last night? This morning? Yesterday after lunch? Obviously the more recent the smoke sesh, the less likely it is that you will pass your drug test. If you smoked at any time within 24 hours of taking the test, you will most certainly not pass it. Even if you start chugging water right now. Don’t start chugging water right now.
What Kind of Drug Test is it?
The most common types of drug tests used for employment or probation are urinary analysis aka UAs. You know, pee tests. They are medium easy to cheat. You just have to drink the right amount of water, so as not to dilute the sample. Depending on how sensitive the UA is that you’re taking, you can sometimes take niacin to mask whatever you think might show up. Be careful if you plan to do this, some people have wised up to it, so they may be on the lookout.
If on the other hand, you are taking a saliva test, involving a cotton swab and your spit, then you definitely don’t have anything to worry about, as long as you swish plenty of water around in your mouth prior to taking the test. You could probably smoke a joint on the way to the testing facility and still pass. I would advise against doing this, however. The last kind of drug test is a hair follicle test, and there is no way you are passing that test. If you are being administered a hair follicle test, you will be made aware of it far in advance.

How Much do you Smoke?
How much weed do you normally smoke? Are you an everyday, if I’m not talking that’s because the pipe is in my mouth, type of weed smoker, or are you more of a casual weekend smoker. If you fall into the first category, I’m sorry to say that your chances of passing this drug test are very slim. If you’re more of an every once in a while you’ll pick up a pipe type of person, then your odds are pretty good, I would say.
