I’ve talked before about what it’s like to be in a relationship with a stoner, something that most of us should probably be familiar with right now, since we are all stoners, and are therefore, more likely to be drawn to other stoners. On Valentine’s Day, this most lovey dovey of days however, I will be talking about what it’s like to be in a relationship with a nonstoner, and why I prefer it in many ways
They Don’t Smoke Your Herb!
Probably the best part about being in a relationship with a nonstoner is that they don’t smoke all of your herb! When you buy weed, it’s all for you! You’re not expected to share the last bowl, the first bowl or any of them! The really nice thing about that is your stash lasts longer, and you end up spending less money. Then you can spend money on something nice for your nonstoner significant other.
They Don’t Get Grumpy When You’re Dry
The second best aspect of being in a relationship with a nonstoner is that they don’t get grumpy when you run out of weed, or when you can’t find any. It sucks when you can’t find herb, or you’re out and your grumpy. What really is not fun is when you have to deal with your pissy mood, but your partner’s as well. Luckily, when you’re in a relationship with a nonstoner, this is not the case.
Their Friends Don’t Smoke All Your Weed
If your partner is a nonstoner, then chances are they don’t hang out with all that many stoners, if they do at all. This means that you won’t have to smoke their friends out, which again means more for you!. Also, lets be honest, but your average stoner friend is kind of annoying, unless they are friends of yours, in which case they are awesome.
They’re Pretty Cool, Despite Not Smoking Weed
The thing to remember is that whether or not your partner smokes weed with you, they must be pretty cool. After all, they are with you right? I hope that you do everything you can to make sure that you’re not pressuring your partner to smoke weed with you. Respect their choice. Find other interests that you both have in common. Take them out somewhere nice on a date. Since Valentine’s Day is in full swing, i hope you’ve already done that. Also, don’t blow your smoke in their face.
Appreciate the one you have. You never know what’s going to happen, and if you want the relationship to last, you need to reciprocate. Thank you. This has been your weekly advice column on relationships. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
