Kryptonite cannabis seeds produce good-sized plants. These plants are also known to have very good yields for an autoflower strain. They can grow anywhere between 90 and 250 centimeters.
Indoors, they can provide a very good yield of 550 grams per square meter under a 600W light. When grown outdoors, they are expected to yield in excess of 100 grams per plant. When grown correctly, they spend anywhere between 60 and 65 days in flower.
The long and thin buds from Kryptonite autos are spicy – with a taste almost similar to Amnesia Haze. However, it has an acidic finish inherited from its Yumbolt genes. THC levels are quite high at around 17%. With this potency, you can expect Kryptonite cannabis to be powerful and physically relaxing.

This grow journal features one of the world’s fastest-growing sativa. Supplies used are:
- Grow area: 2’ x 2.5’ Gorilla tent
- Lights: 700W Mars Hydro Series II LED
- Medium: Coco perlite mix in 2-gallon pots
- Nutes: Advanced Nutrients Jungle Juice Micro and Bloom, Advanced Nutrients Bloom Additives, pre-charged coco with 3mL CalMag, a few drops of Roots Excelurator, 1mL Micro and Microbe Brew 5mL.
The plant popped out of the soil today so it’s obviously Day 1 for both of them.

Not much to report but the plant is just receiving some light watering with alternating days of Roots Excelurator and plain water. Unfortunately, she appears a little lanky in these photos.

Everything is going fine. Just doing some tip spreading to see how it goes. Tip spreading is a method to promote node stacking. This process could be used at any point and is quite easy to do. Just gently open up the closed immature foliage.
This little lady is already on her 3rd node. Check out this photo.

After three weeks above ground, she’s finally putting on some weight. She received 1mL of Micro, 1mL of Silica, and 1mL CalMag one day ago. Today, she got 1mL of Bloom and 3mL of Big Bloom. She’s loving all these nutrients but she’s a bit light green so she might need some increased nitrogen.
Node spacing is staying fairly short and narrow so far. She should be able to maintain this node spacing even as she grows older.
July 10th
Lots of growth this week and she grew up to 10.5 inches in vertical length. She has lots of bud sites forming and she’s also starting to stagger branches which show her predominantly sativa side. She’s also a light feeder and feeding had to be reduced to 0.75mL per liter.
So far this is an easy grow with no problems… yet.
July 16th
Big spurt of stretch this week. In a span of seven days, she added over 7.5 inches to her height. New growth seem to show some signs of nute burn on their tips. Feeding was reduced to 0.5mL of Micro and 0.75mL of Bloom. After this feeding, she won’t receive any nutes for a few days to see if they’ll clear up.
Other than that, the nodes appear to be stacking really well.

Mid-week update!
She’s growing like crazy! She’s grown 5 inches since the last update. Lots of bud sites and she continues to stack them up nicely. She’s growing so fast that undergrowth needs to be removed on a daily basis.
She also needs a boost of phosphorus hence the dose of Mag Pro. She has really been thirsty and is drinking almost 2 liters per day.
July 30th
10 days after the last update and her stretch seems to have just about finished. She’s up to 27 inches in height and the big fan leaves on the undergrowth have been trimmed. The branches which are too small to produce anything are now gone too.
In the following photos, you can tell she has started to frost up. The central cola looks like it may be good-sized when everything’s said and done.
The environment is maintained to have a pH of around 5.7 to 6.0, and temperatures of 75 to 85 degrees F at canopy height.
She’s looking pretty solid for a plant that’s only 27 inches tall!
August 6th
The little Kryptonite is still showing the same problem as last time: curling leaves. The only step taken to address this is to stop the Silica early. The temperature is ok and the buds are still looking great. She also has lots of pistils popping out.
August 13th
Another weeks has passed. The leaf curl is worsening so she had to go a few more days with just water. The central cola is starting to fatten up and get a nice coating of trichomes. However, she’s still not ready to be chopped.
August 20th
Update time!
The leaf curl seems to have stopped or slowed down after cutting back on the nutes. Only a few products are added at a time and on different days to prevent any nute burns.
She’s putting on a lot of trichomes and starting to bulk up and get firm. There are a few cloudy trichomes so harvest time could be in a couple of weeks. Sadly, it doesn’t look like she’ll produce anything over an ounce… but that’s ok.
