Growing Different Types of Marijuana Outdoors

Growing Different Types of Marijuana Outdoors

When growing cannabis outdoors, the sun offers plenty of advantages compared to growing indoors. If you live in an ideal climate like in California, take advantage of the sun and grow your own cannabis outdoors.

This approach to cultivating cannabis offers several benefits:

  • Outdoor cannabis grows save energy. Think of the amount of electricity you save when you harness the power of the sun! It gives full-spectrum natural light which is evenly distributed throughout the plants.
  • Outdoor cannabis are healthier. Cannabis which are grown outdoors receive more than just the free, even amount of sunlight. They are also exposed to outdoor air which provides the best circulation to prevent molds and help build strong branches.
  • Outdoor cannabis are more potent and produce more buds. In terms of production, even a carefully cultivated indoor plant cannot compare to a healthy outdoor plant. The longer growth cycle of outdoor cannabis means more time for development.
  • Outdoor grows cost less. No longer do you have to pool in resources for a simple indoor setup which will need lighting, grow media, nutrients, ventilation, and so on! All you will need are some seeds, healthy soil, some organic fertilizer and probably some form of pest control.

With this grow, the seeds were germinated in wet paper towels and placed in 4-inch pots. They are now 2 weeks old from breaking soil. Right now, they’re in cheap organic soil. From left to right, these are the Money Maker, Chocolate Kush, and Critical Impact cannabis.

The girls are 49 days old today. They’ve been fed once a week. They’re getting 3 teaspoons of Grow Big, ¼ teaspoon Open Sesame, 1mL Rapid Start, and 1mL Floralicious. Started doing some LST to open up the middle of the plants and get the sun to hit the lower branches.

Went ahead and fed the babies today and found some problems. It looks like they have magnesium deficiency. The good news is they have started to show signs of sex!
