The Fruit Punch autoflower seeds are a feminized cannabis strain. This sativa-dominant strain is ideal for both cannabis novices and connoisseurs. It creates a sweet and rich smoke with an uplifting high perfect for socializing. It’s good for pain relief without the feeling of couchlock. Expect flavors of lemon, lime, and mango to hit your taste buds!
When cultivating Fruit Punch autoflower cannabis, it can grow 100cm to 120cm in height and produce 600 to 800 grams per square meter of usable cannabis after a flowering period of 70 to 80 days. THC content reaches 21%.
This grow journal features Fruit Punch auto cultivation under CFLs.

September 6th
The following were initially used for this grow:
- Strain – Fruit Punch auto
- Medium – Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Perlite mix (2:1)
- Lights – CFLs (150W equivalent)
- Nutes – Fox Farms Big Bloom, Grow Big, and Tiger Lily
- Watering – pH-adjusted to 6.3
- Temperature – 83 to 85 degrees F
The seed was germinated in soil on August 25th and popped out of soil on August 30th. These are photos from the 6th day above ground.
September 7th
She grew a new set of leaves in just 24 hours! So much change can happen in such a short amount of time at this stage.
September 9th
These are up-to-the-minute photos. No problems with her so far. As you can see, the past 48 hours allowed her to put on even more leaves.
September 11th
Seeing even more good growth in the last couple of days. She’ll go on to develop for 4 or 5 more days before getting her top off. Started some light LST to get the main stem started in the desired direction. Bigger leaves were also moved out of the way to allow more light to penetrate inside.
September 13th
Was planning on waiting a couple more days to top her but she’s growing like a weed! Took care of it today and continued with the LST just a bit after topping. It seems like she’ll take a good 4-5 days to recover from “surgery.”
LST is necessary for this plant because the grow space only contains 70cm height. Here are the before (left) and after (right) photos of this plant.
September 15th
Today is the 16th day above ground. She is really taking off and isn’t showing any ill effects from the topping procedure. Continuing with some light LST and just tucking bigger leaves.
September 21st
In just 22 days, she started showing pre-flowers!
September 25th
Day 26 update. She is starting to fill out and stretch a bit. Trying to keep up with the LST to keep her as short as possible. Looks like she’ll show 12 good bud sides.
September 27th
Day 28 update. Still going strong. A little more LST. Will continue pulling the outer branches down and fill in the middle with the newer growth. She’s almost halfway near the top of the grow space with only 35cm more to go!
September 29th
Everything is on track. Going to start flower nutes in 2 days at ½ strength. Tons of bud sites! Getting pretty stoked about this plant.
October 1st
Day 32 and she received her first feeding of Fox Farms Big Bloom at ¼ strength. Not going to be able to check on her for about 36 hours. Don’t want to worry about any overfeeding issues but this will be bumped up to ½ strength with the next round of nutes.
